Master’s Program Tuition
Tuition and residency information is available on the Office of the Bursar website. When using the tuition estimator or viewing the chart of tuition rates for winter intersession and summer terms, be sure to choose the tuition rates for master’s students in accountancy programs, which differ from regular graduate tuition rates. Tuition for classes taken in the concurrent Juris Doctor/Master of Accountancy program and Juris Doctor/Master of Taxation program is assessed at the law school rate, with the exception of classes taken in the summer prior to the first year of law school enrollment; tuition for those classes is assessed at the accountancy master’s rate.
Each master’s program requires 10 three-hour classes (30 total hours). Full-time enrollment for master’s students is 9-12 hours (3-4 classes) in fall and spring semesters. Generally, 2-3 classes are taken outside of fall and spring semesters, with 1-3 of those in the summer. Taking a class in winter intersession is an option for some students (determined by electives chosen). Degree requirements as well as the starting term and electives that you choose will inform how classes are placed in your degree plan. You can complete your master’s degree in 10-12 months.
